Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I download?Download the files to a folder on your desktop or any other place on your computer that you will remember. The files are coming in a zippet or rar format and you will have to unzip them before putting them into your game. For unzipping; use WinZip or WinRar.

Where do I put my downloads?After you have unzippet your download files you will have to put the package files into your game:
.../My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads.
If you do not have a Downloads folder, you need to create one.
Click File - New - Folder, and call it: Downloads
You can also create folders within your Downloads folder to put your downloads. Like walls, floors, flowers etc. But for the clothes, eyes, eyebrows, lipstick, glasses, mask they must be put directly in the download folder.
If you have the EP Nightlife you can put everything except clothes in different folders and if you have the EP Open for Business you can put all your downloads into different folders.

To install a house. The best way is to use the program Sims2Pack Clean Installer.

How can I create custom content for Sims 2? 1. Understand your paint program (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, etc). The better you understand it, the better you'll do.
2. Learn how to make a simple shirt in Bodyshop using the Maxis tutorial.
Learning how to create custom content is an art, not a science.
There's no right or wrong way, and you improve your skills the old fashioned way- through practice.
Can you send me a file?Please use our download section to grab your files. The staff on this site live extremely busy lives, so unfortunately, they cannot send files to people personally.
How often do you update the site?There's no set schedule, some weeks may be busier than others, and it all depends on when the inspiration hits us.
Why can I not register and apply for membership? This forum is a place for creators to put up their creations for downloads.
The creators are members and you - as a guest - cannot be a member of the forum.
What you can do is to enjoy the results of the creations by looking around and make downloads.
