The Greek island of Kefalonia is famous for it's lovely beaches and spectacular scenery, and of course from the novel and film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Many of us have the dream of the good and simple life in a Greek village. I believe this goes for the sims too, so I've made a few houses for them, most of them based on real houses in Kefalonia. This one is the twelfth, the previous ones are Pandora, Mythos A/Mythos B, Hera apartments, Aiolos, Asteropi, Odysseas, Kalypso, Titan, Kallisto, Medea apartments and Demeter.

Tradition is important for Greeks, and the inhabitants of the Ikaros house is no exception. In my neighbourhood the house holds a family of five, and they take good care of grandma's old dining set. Furthermore, they can't see any reason why they should redecorate and make changes in the house, as long as nothing is broken (And since they take good care of everything, it very seldom does.). So their little house has a somewhat retro style, actually it is so old-fashioned that it is modern again!

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.
Note! No sims included!

Sims 3 World Adventures Sims 3 High-End Loft Sims 3 Ambitions Sims 3 Fast Lane Sims 3 Late Night Sims 3 Outdoor Living Sims 3 Generations

Note that this house is placed on a slightly downhill lot, flattend except from the very front. Some of the white flower ground cover is from outside the lot itself, so depending on where you place it, it might show up a little different from my pics in your game.

There are some items on this lot that are not from the basic game or expansions. Some are from the Store, some from different creators, that provide quality additions to the game. If you don't have these items, and don't want them,  you can still download the lot without problems. In this case, the items in question will be replaced with items from the base game. If you want the house to show up in your game exactly as in the pictures, you will need the expansions/stuff packages above, the listed items from the Store and the cc included in separate folders in the download file. My most sincere thanks to the creators - you make this game so much more interesting!

What a cute little house!
And you have really managed to capture the spirit of Greece with the vault and grandma's old dining set  Smiley
Such a joy!

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.

I love to have a walk through all your houses, Kyria!

I like the layoiut of your houses, and though I very seldom play

sims3, it seems to be very playable houses!
