The Greek island of Kefalonia is famous for it's lovely beaches and spectacular scenery, and of course from the novel and film "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Many of us have the dream of the good and simple life in a Greek village. I believe this goes for the sims too, so I've made a few houses for them, most of them based on real houses in Kefalonia. This one is the eleventh, the previous ones are Pandora, Mythos A/Mythos B, Hera apartments, Aiolos, Asteropi, Odysseas, Kalypso, Titan, Kallisto and Medea apartments.

When city life is getting too stressful, many of us try to realize the dream of going back to the home village. Life might not be that easy even there, but it sure is beautiful. The Demeter house is built outside the center, and has been in the family for generations. To fit modern demands it was extended and modernized in different periods. In my neighbourhood it is now inhabited by the granddaughter and her ecological-friendly friends. They are a bit alternative, some politically radical, some new agers and some very artistic. Here they can grow there ecological products, practice yoga or do their artistic work. Or simply enjoy the view.

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.
Note! No sims included!

Sims 3 World Adventures Sims 3 High-End Loft Sims 3 Ambitions Sims 3 Fast Lane Sims 3 Late Night Sims 3 Outdoor Living

Note that this house is placed on a slightly downhill lot, flattend except from the very front. Some of the white flower ground cover is from outside the lot itself, so depending on where you place it, it might show up a little different from my pics in your game.

There are some items on this lot that are not from the basic game or expansions. Some are from the Store, some from different creators, that provide quality additions to the game. If you don't have these items, and don't want them,  you can still download the lot without problems. In this case, the items in question will be replaced with items from the base game. If you want the house to show up in your game exactly as in the pictures, you will need the expansions/stuff packages above, the listed items from the Store and the cc included in separate folders in the download file. My most sincere thanks to the creators - you make this game so much more interesting!

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.

Thank you Marbi, I love it too actually - it's so interesting to play with! A bit of a challenge with all those tomatoes and apple trees that I've planted, but the views are breathtaking!  haha
