Life is short, especially for the sims, and the orthodox sims needed a place to bury their loved ones. So they built this little chapel in a secluded part of town, and very soon the marble "tafos" became inhabited by the deceased.

The little chapel is built in honor of Agios Ioannis, or St. John if you like, and here the sims can find a quiet moment or grief. Or maybe they prefer to have a little picnic, close to their family members.

The cemetery would fit perfectly in the "Kefalonian Summer" neighbourhood, or any other neighbourhood, for that matter. It is inspired by several real cemeteries, an important place in most Greek villages. Allthough they remind us of the bitter moments in life, they also have their own special beauty, in my opinion.

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.
Note! No sims included!

There is a mausoleum, so that the lot can function like a real graveyard.

Please note before you install:
You must place this lot on a Community lot 20x30 or larger, defined as a graveyard for it to work properly. (If you are not sure how to do this, see this explanation.)

There are some items on this lot that are not from the basic game or expansions. Some are from the Store, some from different creators, that provide quality additions to the game. If you don't have these items, and don't want them,  you can still download the lot without problems. In this case, the items in question will be replaced with items from the base game. However, some of the cc used is very important for this lot, like the two crosses used. If you want the house to show up in your game exactly as in the pictures, you will need the expansions/stuff packages above, the listed items from the Store and the cc included in separate folders in the download file. My most sincere thanks to the creators - you make this game so much more interesting!

From ATS:
Cross, icons (painting), lectern, Bible and sink/font from the Church set

From The Store:
Magique Arch
Larger than Life party table (the altar)
Pedro Estate Candelabra
Wall flower and Elite Efflorescence from the Romanza set

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.
