Walking down Brick road you realize that the houses are very similar, except from some minor differences. Brick road 3 and 4 are semi-detached, and this post shows you what hides behind the door of number 4, the brick building.  It is the home of a small West-African family, and their house is the witness of their love for music, their home country and the colours of Africa.

I have made this brick house collection in tribute to immigrants all over the world. They richen the design, food, music and fashion and are important contributors to the culture they come to, and make our neighbourhoods colourful and interesting. If you want to customize the house yourself, I've also uploaded the house skeleton ("Brick road no. 20"), without indoor wallpapers, furniture or apartment facilitation. Make your own row of "same, same, but different" houses! And, of course, it fits perfectly with the other brick houses: number 2, number 3 and number 5.

The lot is made ready for NPCs to move in next door. However, due to limitations in the game, I had to make a small entrance to make it work, so if you want your sim to have contact with the neighbour, he/she will have to ring the bell at the door inside the next-door apartment. I would also recommend that you lock the gate to your backyard, otherwise your neighbours will use it whenever they feel like it! Some sims have absolutely no shame....    haha

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.

There are some items in this lot that are not from the basic game or expansions. Some are from the Store, some from creators that provide quality additions to the game. If you don't have these items, and don't want them,  you can still download without problems, but the items in question will be replaced with items from the base game. I have included them in separate folders in the download file, except for the Store items. My most sincere thanks to the creators - you make this game so much more interesting!

From Enrosadira here at Anno: Tuscan brick wall
From Pilar at Simcontrol: Paintings PaintingsLong2
From Simalia at Stuff for Sims: Paintings Dancing and Wild and domestic

From ATS3:
From her Fashion Design set: Tapeline & needles, sewing machine (decorative) and reels
From her Laundry set: Ironing board and iron

Not included:
The cat (originally colour is black) that you can see partly on the second picture. I'm pretty sure I downloaded it from The Store, but I'm not able to locate it.

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.

You always provide your houses with some background. I like that very much!!  approve  It adds to the house when you can imagine the residents. I love this house. Nice floorplan and appealing deco and furnishing. Wonderful colours!  grin
