Building your dream home in a mountain landscape is not easy. The rocky hills and many small streams are challenges for housebuilders, but it also has a magnetic beauty. It was common in Norway to build the houses half hidden into the hill, this gave good protection of wind and snow.

This house would be perfect for an active family of three, or maybe a single mum or dad with teenage kids. The fitness room in the basement could easily be changed into a third bedroom, as long as the owner is not claustrophobic!

If you enjoy houses in the Norwegian/Scandinavian style take a look at Norwegian Wood - Brekke, or maybe you will like my Village or the Nordic Living houses.

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.

It's a very cute and confortable house with everything we need epecially when weather conditions are bad and we have to stay inside .
I agree with Marbi about the surroundings, the waterfall is a great idea and you made it so well !  loveheart

Above all I'm happy to see you are in the mood for simming again.  hug

Thank you for the nice comment Enro  loveheart

It would be fantastic if one could transfer some of this bad winter weather we have in Norway at the moment, to the Sims game. My simmies would probably enjoy a little blizzard or two, unlike me!  Cool

Oh yes! When driving along narrow roads in the mountains of Norway, you'll most likely see this kind of houses.
And your sims house is so authentic too - with the waterfall and all.   loveheart

Lovely Kyria!  tender

I've loved all of your scandinavian houses and this is no exception. Very beautiful!  loveheart I suppose it must have been a real challenge to overcome the terrain complications.
Amazing result!!  cheer
