Updates of 7th of April, see the bottom of this message.

Sims from Victorian times also enjoyed city life, and who wouldn't love to live in this semi-detached house? That is provided you have nice neighbours of course. Well you are never able to control who will move in next door, are you? The apartment is elegant and spacious, just fitting for a family with one child, and you may even decorate the rooms in the attic for more kids, or maybe you would have some servants living in.

There is, of course, a fully furnished apartment in the second part of the house. Actually it is identical - with a slightly different colour scheme. You can see what it looks like if you use cheat codes in build mode. Just remember that curiosity killed the cat...  Cool

If you want a serial of Victorian Houses, you will find several with the name "Victorian House Anno xxxx" made by me. Maybe you will like this one? (Of course you will also find Victorian houses made by other creators here at Anno, you can make a general search here.)
NOTE! Don’t put too much emphasis on the year – it is just illustrative!

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.

My most sincere thanks and credit to Enrosadira and Freddy here at Anno, for their lovely patterns. You can download the whole sets here: Enrosadira's Tuscany my love and Fredy's Patterns collection 2, Country patterns collection and New patterns. Or you can install the single files that I've included in the rar file.

There are a few decorative items from Around the Sims 3 on this lot, all decorative and not essential for the lot itself. You will find the files in a separate folder, but you don't have to install them to use the house. (The items will be replaced with a base game item, just delete them). These are the items used:
Kitchen: Tuscany Kitchen Saucepans on wall
Back entrence: Garden boots
Office: World map, Schoolwork and paint brushes.

Please note: The house also has some (pay) items from The Store. If you don't have these items you can still download without problems, but the items in question will be replaced with items from the base game. The items used are:
Not-So-Private Study Door
Johan Arch Plus
Morris curtain
Retronator stove
Retronik Lectronik by Phonokronik
Moelleux Living Chair
Ruby's Grand Dresser

UPDATE 7th of April 2011:
I just realized that no NPCs moved in next door. I had overlooked a small, but important detail, and I'm sorry for that. I have now made two new and corrected versions, one for each apartment. You can download the A version (not shown on pics, but similar interior in different colours) or the B version (as shown on the pics).

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.

Thank you Ani!  loveheart

The other half is not open for your Sim, but it is fully furnished in the same style as the half you can see. It is prepared for a NPC to move in, and your playable sim can communicate with that sim but not visit the apartment (as far as I have understood). The neighbours backyard is zoned as a public area - open for all sims living on the lot.

You can also use cheat codes (open the buy debug mode) to change the definition of the two apartments, but one of them must be hidden. Unless you delete the apartment zoning all together, and use both apartments for one family.  Wink

Thank you Krabaten!  loveheart

The last EP Late Night is actually a lot of fun! Apartments, celebrities, and a feeling of city life. I actually spent a lot of time playing lately (which I usually don't, since I enjoy building so much)! Now The Sims 3 is really getting somewhere, compared to Sims 2. The only thing missing is your's and Sophi's meshes..  tapping
