In some simtowns there is a community with Greek origin, and where there are Greeks, there is of course at least one Greek Orthodox church. The Greek sims are very proud of their old church from the byzantine period, and they use it frequently. Obviously they go to church to pray or light a candle, but it is of course the natural center for any big, Greek, fat wedding, and the obvious place to meet at the important village- and church celebrations; the Panegyri.

The name of the church, Agia Sophia, is commonly translated as Saint Sophia. One might think that the name is chosen in honor of Sophisim, our own saint here at Anno, but the name Agia Sophia is in Greek actually associated with The Holyness of God's wisdom. (Not that Sophi doesn't deserve her own Church...)

My Agia Sophia is inspired by a real Agia Sophia and other wonderful byzantine churches at Mystras, Greece, but it is of course adapted for the sims.

Sim not included

You can see all the pictures from this lot here.

Community lot - Art Gallery
Lotsize: 25 x 25
Price furnished: (102 108)
Price unfurnished: (56 217)
Fully furnished and decorated

The Church has one usable floor.
On the lot you will find toilets, a park barbecue, a bookshelf, a chest (if your sim suddenly decides to change clothes) and a serving table, to take care of your sims most basic needs.
You will be able to arrange a wedding on this lot.

Sims 3 World Adventures Sims 3 High-End Loft Sims 3 Ambitions Sims 3 Fast Lane

Please note before you install:
You must place the Cathedral on a Community lot 25x25 or larger, defined as an art gallery for it to work properly. (If you are not sure how to do this, see this explanation.)

Included:
It makes no sense downloading this church without Enrosadiras stunning Tuscan walls. They are the base and inspiration for this lot, and I have included them in the rar file in a separate folder. If you have them in your game already, you will not need to reinstall them.
I've also included a folder with the objects from Around the Sims used in this lot, all except one from the Church collection. Again, if you have them already, you don't have to reinstall them.
A huge thanks to both creators - your creations make the Sims game so much more interesting!

Not included:
This lot also has some (pay) items from The Store, in order of importance (in my opinion):
The Larger than Life party table (the altar)
The Pedro Estate Candelabra
The Bon Vivant Buffet
The Gothique Cushion and Pearls

I have all the free stuff from EA Sims3 store and some of the paystuff. I may sometimes use them in my houses and if you don't have them they will be replaced by the original objects in your game.
