I am so sorry to hear that...
Did you download the mesh? Not just the recolor of the vase.
This mesh is basegame compatible, so that wouldn't be any problems.

I always test new downloads in an empty testing game so I easyly can find new objects. I tried the tulips mesh in the sims pack clean installer, there I can find the mesh as an game object. Then I made a collection with the collection maker - in game this is an empty collection. Nowhere is a new object - what a pity

I don't know anything about the collection maker...isn't that an old program? The mesh file that can be downloaded here, is a package file and should be placed in your download folder for the sims 2. If you want to test it in your empty testing game, please do. And in your game why don't you make your own collection file within the game instead? |

thanks for your patience. You don't know the collection maker? I use this program a lot because it is much easier to make a collection outside the game. It is a program from DJ sims - here is the link: http://forum.jfade.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=58 What I wanted to say is, that when I created a "collection" with this one single object, the collection icon is shown in the game but the collection is empty. The tulips mesh does not appear in the game and I suppose I would need a special add on. |

But I am sorry to say we cannot be responsible if any other program than sims is not working together with our meshes. If the package file is put in the sims 2 downloads folder (as it is supposed to) and you cannot see the mesh in game then we need to take a closer look. Otherwise, I am sorry...
You better turn to the creator of the program (collection maker) for help instead.

sorry - my english is not the best. Perhaps my explanation was not good. Not to find the tulips mesh has absolutely nothing to do with the collection maker.
I can't find your tulips mesh in a totally empty testing game. So what I did first when I put this single object mesh into the downloads folder of my my testing game - I looked into decorations plants - no mesh, then sculptures - no mesh, then all decorations - no mesh. I even looked into the build section - plants. Oh it could be that I am blind. So next step was to create a collection file with this single mesh - so I must find the mesh in the game. When I find the collection I also have to find the mesh. But the collection is also empty. This fact shows me that the mesh definitely does not work for my game and that I am not blind.
Whatever - I have to play without this beautiful mesh. Thanks again for your creations
