Terribly Toile

Today I bring two items in the download, and a few suggestions of other items to pick up elsewhere in order to create a wonderfully coordinated bedroom in black and white toile.

The bedding:



As you can see, it looks great for single and double beds.  Yay!

The download also includes a coordinating wallpaper, to avoid the matchy-matchy look, but giving your sims a wonderfully put-together room.  (You can see the wallpaper in the photo below.)

Now for the magic!

Huge Lunatic and RgdyAnne over at Sims 2 Artists have slaved some items to Maxis and custom bedding.  Let me show you what I mean:



Notice how the drapes, extra pillows, and comforter all match the bedding?   Neat, huh?  All created by simply adding a new bedding in your downloads folder!  BUT... you need their clever files!

The bedding deco items don't require any cheats to place.  All items are base game compatible.

To me the thing that's really neat is having those other files in my game (the slaved bedspread, drapes, and pillows), which allows me to have so much decorating flexibility that all I need after that is new beddings!    If only a few more drapes, bedspreads, and pillow sets were slaved similarly, my downloads folder could be a whole lot smaller!
