Before:

If you have Bon Voyage, you may have noticed this sad little "starter" house in the catalog -- one bedroom, too small for a double bed; one tiny bathroom; and a great room.  Even the decks are too small to be very useful.

The original comes partially furnished, with three counters, a sink, stove, single bed, and a couple of other items.

Here's my version:

I added a second story, with a spiral staircase leading upstairs.  This doubled the number of bedrooms and baths, to two each.  Still a small house, but ample enough for a family of three or four.

Ground Floor of the makeover house.  There's only walls around the bathroom -- the rest of the floor is open and sunny.

Upstairs of the makeover house.

There are four useable decks, along with all the space inside!

Residential
Lot size: 2x2 same as original
Price: 12,109

University Nightlife Open for Business Pets Seasons Bon Voyage Free Time Apartment Life
Familyfun Glamour Celebration H & M Teen Kitchen & Bath ikea Mansion & Garden

House comes completely unfurnished, but is finished inside.  The price is so low, who can pass up this little gem?  Almost any sim can purchase this quaint vacation home, or use it as a starter in any hood.

You'll need Sophisim's Summerhouse Set and Flowerbox which you can find here, as well as the Independent Expressions single and double doors which you can find here.  Roof is also from ModTheSims2, which you can find here.  Finally, you'll probably need this pediment, also available at ModTheSims2

Download BV Makeover House

I've re-uploaded the file, so if you've downloaded it and it didn't work right, you may want to redownload.  Sorry for the mix-up... :(

It's surprising what a little paint and a few changes here and there can do, isn't it?  Smiley

In my furnished version of this house, I had a full kitchen, dining area, living, one bath fully decorated, plus the master bedroom.  All for under 20,000!  The only rooms empty were the upstairs bath and the spare bedroom.

(I not only like the cheap houses... I like the cheap furniture and deco stuffs, too!  *grin*)
